As a consultant working for a 'driver-in-the-loop' (DIL) simulator software company, Matthew developed new business opportunities in high level motorsport before establishing the low-latency technology as an essential solution for vehicle dynamics within the general automotive market; pioneering the first general automotive sales of the technology through 2000+ connections in the industry. New sales pipelines were created with more than 10 OEMs in the US, Japan and Europe as well as over 20 T1s worldwide. The role required identifying the most appropriate contacts within an organisation, developing the relationships (top down and ground up) and supporting internal processes where necessary to implement the new technologies for vehicle dynamics applications. Annual revenues through licence sales and Hi-definition digital road model sales increased from £500k in 2012 to >£2.2m in 2015.

Working as a consultant for an SME responsible for the design and analysis of complex weight, strength and stiffness critical structures, covering all stages of development from concept design to delivery.
